- Device/browser metadata (as may be collected automatically by hosting providers such as Cloudflare)

- Equipment information (e.g., horsepower, voltage, equipment names)
2. How We Collect Information
We collect data when you:
- Create an account
- Enter information into forms or upload project data
- Interact with our platform during normal usage
We do not currently use third-party analytics tools but may automatically receive limited technical data from hosting or network providers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your SparkBooks account
- Process payments and provide access to paid services
- Maintain and improve the SparkBooks platform
- Communicate with you about your account or service updates
- Provide marketing communications or updates about SparkBooks
4. Who We Share Information With
We may share user information with:
- Stripe for secure payment processing
- Cloudflare or other hosting/CDN providers, for performance and security
- Supabase, our backend platform, for secure data storage and access control
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Cookies and Tracking
At this time, SparkBooks does not actively use cookies or browser-based tracking tools. However, technical data may still be collected indirectly by our infrastructure providers to enable secure, reliable service delivery.
6. Data Storage and Security
- Your user account and project data are stored securely using Supabase.
- Access to data is tightly restricted: all user routes are protected by authentication checks to ensure only the account owner can access their data.
- Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored or processed directly by SparkBooks.
- While we take reasonable measures to secure your data, no system is 100% secure. Use SparkBooks at your own risk.
7. Children’s Privacy
SparkBooks is not specifically intended for children, but we do not restrict usage by users under 13. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data beyond what is necessary to create and maintain an account.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- You may update or delete your account at any time.
- You may request deletion of your stored data by contacting us.
- You may unsubscribe from any marketing communications, if and when implemented.
